This is a Puerto Rican Christmas carol done with sort of an up-tempo Mexican feel.  Alegria literally means "joy" -- and this should provide a nice up-tempo change in your regular Christmas program.  Melody is carried mostly by trumpets, but horn and trombone do get some action as well.
