The classic hymn from the symphony Finlandia by Sibelius is told in two solemn but very different verses. After a
short intro, the trombone is featured on a very straightforward reading. A brief interlude leads into the second
verse, done in a "way too hip for a hymn book" reharmonization -- though it is still very suitable for a church service
(as long as the parishioners don't try to sing the Sibelius harmonies).
