This is a commissioned by John Monroe and is now available for the public (thanks to his graciousness). The piece
runs around 8 minutes and comes with an optional drum part. Zack was going for a "Huntertones" meets "Snarky
Puppy" mood with this composition. It begins with a slow gospel feel, moves to a funkier feel, then goes into a
fast, intense trumpet solo section (the solo is written out). The piece eventually circles back to the opening
themes and has a jazzy trumpet cadenza (also written out, though it can be improvised if you are up to it). Medium
difficulty -- definitely need a tuba player with solid time!
