This take on "First Noel" begins with a short classical statement of the melody, then turns into a 1980's slo jam that probably will not be appropriate at most churches (but will be fun to play anywhere else).  Trombone has the melody early, then second trumpet has the jazzyness (which is written out).  Funky tuba player is a must to make this one really work!

BTW, this is a different arrangement than the one in the Ten Holiday Favorites collection.
