Finally -- a French horn feature! This is a very somber and somewhat post-modern arrangement of the holiday
standard. Horn is featured from start to finish riding over some very dark harmonies. Definitely
something you could play at midnight mass (but probably not the kid's show). Super tight phrasing and
dynamics will showcase just how connected your quintet can play (and it is not rangy -- so it will be easy to
pull off anywhere in your program).
