Zack has taken the traditional English Carol and done it in four different flavors. The piece starts in 6/8 as a
march featuring the horn, then trumpet 1. After a key change, the march gets bouncier and becomes more of a jig
as trumpet 2 is featured. The carol takes a jazzy turn after a third key change with a cool reharmonization, then
it goes into up-tempo swing featuring the trombone. Despite the time changes, the pulse remains the same throughout
the arrangement, which should make it easy to deal with on the gig. A must have -- if only for the opportunity
say "A-Wassailing"!
