We begin this with a chorale of the melody, then it goes into an easy swing with trombone, French horn and tuba each taking the melody.  There are a lot of quotes from other Christmas tunes thrown in as background figures, then it goes into a big band-style shout chorus.  Finally it ends with a little "Killer Joe" with the two trumpets trading Christmas quotes (it makes a lot more sense when you hear it!).
