This is a New Orleans jazz treatment of the hymn. It begins as a trombone feature slowly in a traditional
setting. The trombone part is written pretty high (up to a treble clef Bb), so this might not be for you
if your trombonist doesn't have high chops. Trombone has a written jazz solo, followed by trumpet and then
tuba solo. After a key change, there is one more chorus of Dixieland, then the chart ends back in the
original hymn setting. Fun to play, and the congregation will be tapping their toes!
Listen to a synthesized version.
