This arrangement blends the traditional "Johnny" with a more modern jazzy "Johnny". It begins with
the tuba in the lead, then trumpet 1 takes over. The trombone and horn take the melody, then the
piece goes into hyper swing mode with some very interesting reharmonizations and a jazz trombone solo
(written out). This will take a little bit of practice for the non-professionals -- but it will be
a fun alternative to the stodgy 'Johnny" arrangement that may already be in your book!
