Finally... a zydeco tune for brass quintet! For those of you unfamiliar, zydeco is up-tempo rock
and roll from the swamps of Louisiana. Zack has taken one of his Dixie Power Trio originals
(from their "Zydeco Dog" CD) and
re-imagined it for brass. The melody gets passed around from instrument to instrument with a trio
breakdown in the middle. If you have a player who can scrape some rubboard, the breakdown would
be a cool place to show off some skills. This high energy number will surely entertain the audience.
