This is a very cool Latin flavored arrangement of the Chappell Roan hit for big band and a female vocalist. If
you are looking for a curve ball to throw into your jazz festival set, this fits the bill. It begins with flugelhorn
and piano, then the rhythm section goes into a bossa nova groove and vocalist enters. Piano and trombone get some short
improv solos, then there is a very cool vocalese section along with flugelhorn/trombone/tenor sax. Lead trumpet has
a couple written high Ds. Difficulty is about Grade 4 -- playable by a strong high school group or a college ensemble.
Instrumentation is 5 saxes, 6 brass, 4 rhythm.
Playable by 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone and 3 rhythm.
