You And Me
by Disclosure
arr. Zack Smith
Price: $57
This is a very cool big band arrangement of the song that was a hit for Disclosure, then the Flume remix, and
finally the techno marching band Meute. The chart sticks pretty close to the Meute version of the tune,
though vibes and piano replace the marimba (since most big bands don't haul around a marimba!). The
difficulty level is somewhere between Grade 2 and 3. Lead trumpet has one written D above the staff and
lead trombone has a couple written Fs. There are a handful of tricky rhythms and solo entrances (echoes)
that may be a challenge to players lacking confidence. Tenor sax is featured throughout though there is
a trumpet solo and guitar solo which are written out but can be improvised. My high school jazz bands
have loved playing this chart -- a great change-up in your concert set.
Instrumentation is 5 saxes, 6 brass, 4 rhythm.
Playable by 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone and 3 rhythm.
