This is one of Louis Armstrong's iconic New Orleans jazz standards. Trumpet 1 is featured throughout
on a transcription of Louis' recorded performance from 1926 with his Hot Five. It is hard to figure
what key he actually played it in (E?Eb?F?) -- but we put it in concert F since that's where Wynton Marsalis
played it on his Hot Five tribute album. Trombone has a written solo for the second chorus, then trumpet
1 takes over to finish it out with Louis' iconic solo. The solo trumpet part is a challenge, and the
trombone solo is not easy -- but this will be a great addition to your New Orleans jazz set!
