This arrangement is based on the Frank Coughlan recording from the 1930's. He was a very popular
Australian band leader in the 30s and 40s. The trombone part is mostly a transcription of what Frank
played (including his solo), and the rest of the quintet covers everything else. French horn and
tuba also get a piece of the melody. A fun addition to your "early jazz" concert program.
