This is a funky brass quintet arrangement of the Bar-Kays hit. Considered one of the top ten horn band
tunes of the 1960's, this will be a perfect addition to your pop/soul set. Trumpet one has the iconic lead trumpet
line, tuba and trombone carry the bass line, and trumpet 2 gets an a capella jazz solo (which is written out).
Original key has been moved down a half step to a friendlier brass key. Zack added a funky horn break towards the
end just to relieve a little of the monotony and give everyone something to sweat about. Plus, there are hand
claps and some "vocal" to make it fun! Rated as advanced due to the syncopated rhythms and the rangy first
trumpet part (there are a bunch of written Bb's).
